The terms governing your use of the Savnec website and participation in the Savnec expert network.
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Savnec website and participation in the Savnec expert network (together, the "Services"), operated by Savnec LLC ("Savnec," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our website, submitting a request as a client, or applying to join our network as an expert ("Expert"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
Savnec operates a business-to-business expert network that connects clients, including market research agencies, consulting firms, corporate strategy teams, and private equity and venture capital investors, with vetted industry experts for consultations, surveys, and custom research engagements. Savnec sources and screens Experts on a project-by-project basis and facilitates the resulting engagement; Savnec does not itself provide the professional, financial, legal, or investment advice shared during an engagement.
Our Services are intended for business use by professionals acting on behalf of an organization, or in their individual professional capacity as an Expert, and are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. By using our Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the authority to agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent.
Clients agree to use expert consultations solely for lawful business purposes and in accordance with Savnec's compliance standards, as further described in our Compliance & Data Privacy page. Clients must not solicit, request, or knowingly accept material non-public information (MNPI) from an Expert during any engagement, and must not use an engagement to induce an Expert to breach any confidentiality or contractual obligation owed to a current or former employer.
Experts agree to provide accurate and current information during the application and onboarding process, including with respect to their professional background and any potential conflicts of interest. Experts participate in the network as independent contractors, not as employees or agents of Savnec, and are responsible for ensuring that their participation, and the content of any consultation, does not breach any confidentiality, non-compete, or other obligation owed to a current or former employer. Experts may decline any engagement at their discretion.
In connection with the Services, you agree not to: provide false or misleading information; attempt to circumvent Savnec's compliance or screening processes; solicit, share, or discuss material non-public information; use the Services for any unlawful purpose; or interfere with the proper functioning of our website or systems.
Client identities, project scopes, and the substance of expert consultations are treated as confidential in accordance with our Privacy & Cookie Policy and are disclosed only as necessary to facilitate a specific engagement. Clients and Experts may be asked to execute additional confidentiality terms specific to an individual engagement.
All content on the Savnec website, including text, graphics, logos, and the Savnec name and marks, is the property of Savnec LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our prior written permission, except as necessary to use the Services as intended.
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Savnec facilitates access to independent, third-party Experts and does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any opinion, information, or advice provided by an Expert during a consultation. Any decision made in reliance on information obtained through the Services is made at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Savnec shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising out of or related to your use of the Services, whether based on contract, tort, or any other legal theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Savnec, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Services, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delaware.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when these Terms were most recently revised. Continued use of the Services after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
